PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the State Enterprise Law on November 26, 2003;
Pursuant to Decision No. 155/2004/QD-TTg dated August 24, 2004 of the Prime Minister on issuing criteria and classification lists for state-owned companies and independent accounting subsidiaries of state-owned corporations;
Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development,
DECISION:
Article 1. Approves the plan for restructuring and modernizing state-owned enterprises under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for 2007-2008 as set out in the Appendix attached hereto.
Article 2. The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development shall be responsible for directing the implementation of the restructuring and modernization of directly subordinate state-owned enterprises in accordance with the approved content and schedule.
The Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and related agencies shall be responsible for coordinating with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in implementing this Decision. The Steering Committee for Enterprise Modernization and Development shall be responsible for directing, urging, guiding, and monitoring the implementation.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect from the date of issuance.
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and the heads of relevant agencies shall be responsible for enforcing this Decision.
