NO. 3-SL OF FEBRUARY 1, 1949
OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
THE PRESIDENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 57 dated May 3, 1946 on the organization of Ministries;
Pursuant to Decree-Laws Nos. 34 dated May 22, 1946 and 35-SL dated March 9, 1947 on the organization of the Ministry of National Defense;
Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 47-SL dated May 1, 1947 on the establishment of the General Staff Office;
At the proposal of the Minister of National Defense and Chief Commander of the National Army and People's Militia of Vietnam, after consultation with the Minister of Interior Affairs;
ENACTS THE FOLLOWING DECREE:
Article 1: Mr. Lý Ban, Director General of the Central Overseas Vietnamese Affairs Office, is hereby appointed as Deputy Chief of the Political Department of the Ministry of National Defense and Chief Commander of the National Army and People's Militia of Vietnam.
Article 2: The Minister of National Defense and Chief Commander of the National Army and People's Militia of Vietnam shall implement this Decree-Law.
