Regarding the establishment of communes and towns under Tuyen Hoa district and Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh province
and Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh province

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. Establish the town Dong Le and commune Son Ha under Tuyen Hoa district, and the town Quan Hau under Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh province as follows:
1. Establish the town Dong Le - the district capital of Tuyen Hoa district based on 1,072 hectares of natural area and 6,186 population of commune Le Ha.
Town Dong Le has 1,072 hectares of natural area and 6,186 population.
The administrative boundary of town Dong Le: East borders commune Son Ha; West borders Minh Hoa district; South borders commune Son Ha; North borders communes Thuan Ha and Le Ha.
2. Establish commune Son Ha under Tuyen Hoa district based on 1,350 hectares of natural area and 1,661 population of commune Le Ha; 1,652 hectares of natural area and 1,311 population of commune Dong Ha.
Commune Son Ha has 3,002 hectares of natural area and 2,972 population.
The administrative boundary of commune Son Ha: East borders communes Dong Ha and Thach Ha; West borders Minh Hoa district; South borders Minh Hoa district; North borders communes Thuan Ha and town Dong Le.
After the adjustment of administrative boundaries:
Commune Le Ha has 2,303 hectares of natural area and 2,428 population.
Commune Dong Ha has 4,404 hectares of natural area and 3,501 population.
3. Establish the town Quan Hau - the district capital of Quang Ninh district based on 186 hectares of natural area and 3,515 population of commune Luong Ninh; 138.4 hectares of natural area and 1,011 population of commune Vinh Ninh.
Town Quan Hau has 324.4 hectares of natural area and 4,526 population.
The administrative boundary of town Quan Hau: East borders commune Vo Ninh; West borders commune Vinh Ninh; South borders commune Vinh Ninh; North borders commune Luong Ninh.
After the adjustment of administrative boundaries:
Commune Luong Ninh has 560 hectares of natural area and 3,337 population. Commune Vinh Ninh has 5,119.6 hectares of natural area and 6,093 population.
Article 2. THIS DECREE SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE. ALL PRIOR PROVISIONS CONTRARY TO THIS DECREE ARE ABROGATED.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province, the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
