BASED ON DECREE NO. 189/2007/NĐ-CP OF DECEMBER 27, 2007 ISSUED BY THE GOVERNMENT ON THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE;
BASED ON DECREE NO. 12/2006/NĐ-CP OF JANUARY 23, 2006 ISSUED BY THE GOVERNMENT PROVIDING DETAILED GUIDELINES FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF THE COMMERCE LAW ON INTERNATIONAL TRADE ACTIVITIES AND FOREIGN TRADE AGENCY ACTIVITIES;
BASED ON DECISION NO. 64/2008/QĐ-BTC OF AUGUST 1, 2008 ISSUED BY THE MINISTER OF FINANCE ON AMENDING THE RATE OF EXPORT DUTY FOR CERTAIN ITEMS OF UNSINTERED IRON AND STEEL IN THE EXPORT TAX SCHEDULE;.
AT THE REQUEST OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE IMPORT-EXPORT DEPARTMENT,
DECISION:
Article 1. TEMPORARILY SUSPEND THE AUTOMATIC EXPORT LICENSE REGIME FOR DOMESTICALLY PRODUCED IRON AND STEEL AND IMPORTED IRON AND STEEL WITH HS CODES UNDER CHAPTER 72 IN THE EXPORT TAX SCHEDULE AND THE PREFERENTIAL IMPORT TAX SCHEDULE ANNEXED TO DECISION NO. 106/2007/QĐ-BTC OF DECEMBER 20, 2007 ISSUED BY THE MINISTER OF FINANCE.
EXPORTERS OF IRON AND STEEL ARE NOT REQUIRED TO APPLY FOR AUTOMATIC EXPORT LICENSES FOR EXPORT SHIPMENTS.
Article 2. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
Article 3. THE IMPORT-EXPORT DEPARTMENT, UNITS UNDER THE MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE, EXPORTERS, AND RELATED AUTHORITIES SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCING THIS DECISION./.
