CIRCULAR

Issuing the "Supplementary List of Crop Varieties Permitted for Production and Business in Vietnam"

Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; Decree No. 75/2009/NĐ-CP dated September 10, 2009 of the Government amending Article 3 of Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government;

Pursuant to the Plant Variety Law No. 15/2004/PL-UBTVQH11 dated March 24, 2004 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly;

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development issues the Supplementary List of Crop Varieties Permitted for Production and Business in Vietnam.

Article 1. Attached to this Circular is the "Supplementary List of Crop Varieties Permitted for Production and Business in Vietnam," which includes: two hybrid grass varieties; three hybrid rice varieties; two pure rice varieties; one glutinous rice variety; seven hybrid corn varieties; two glutinous corn hybrid varieties; and one soybean variety (Annex attached).

Article 2. This Circular shall take effect forty-five days from the date of issuance.

Article 3. The Director of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Crop Cultivation Department, the Director of the Science, Technology, and Environment Department, the Directors of the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development of provinces and centrally governed cities, and the Heads of relevant units are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
