DECISION
"on transferring 100 billion VND from the State Bank to the Vietnam Agricultural Bank for lending purposes to become the charter capital of the bank serving the poor"
Pursuant to the State Bank Law promulgated by Decree No. 37/LCT-HĐNN8 dated May 24, 1990 of the Chairman of the Council of State of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
Pursuant to Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 of the Government on the tasks, powers, and responsibilities for state management of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
CPursuant to Document No. 5447/KTTH dated September 28, 1995 of the Prime Minister agreeing to transfer the capital contributed by banks to establish a loan fund for the poor to become the charter capital of the bank serving the poor from January 1, 1996;
At the proposal of the Director of the Credit Department.
DECISION:
Article 1.Now, the amount of 100 billion VND that the State Bank has lent to the Vietnam Agricultural Bank under Contract No. 04 dated June 29, 1995 shall be converted into the charter capital of the bank serving the poor.
Article 2.The outstanding debt of the Vietnam Agricultural Bank to the State Bank will decrease by 100 billion VND to be transferred as capital to the bank serving the poor, effective from January 1, 1996. The bank serving the poor shall be responsible for managing and using the capital in accordance with the directives of the Government and the regulations of the Ministry of Finance.
Article 3. The Director of the Governor's Office, the Head of the Accounting and Finance Department, the Head of the Credit Department, the Director of the Transaction Department, the Heads of relevant units at the Central State Bank, and the General Director of the Vietnam Agricultural Bank and the bank serving the poor are responsible for implementing this Decision.
