Regarding the purchase of cars to serve the APEC 2006 Conference

PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decision No. 195/2005/QD-TTg dated August 5, 2005 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the National Steering Committee for the preparation and organization of the 2006 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) High-Level Meeting;
Pursuant to Decision No. 1011/2005/QD-TTg dated September 22, 2005 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Material and Logistics Sub-committee of APEC;
Considering the proposal of the Government Office (Material and Logistics Sub-committee of APEC) and the Ministry of Finance on February 9, 2006 regarding cars to serve the SOM meetings and the Ministerial-level Conference in 2006;
DECISION:
Article 1. The Material and Logistics Sub-committee of APEC (Government Office) is tasked with purchasing 36 Ford Mondeo 2.5 cars, each seating five people, to serve the SOM meetings and the Ministerial-level Conference in 2006.
Source of funding: From the budget for organizing the APEC 2006 Conference.
Article 2. The Government Office shall implement the purchase of the 36 cars above in accordance with current regulations and manage and operate their use efficiently and economically. After the APEC 2006 Conferences, submit to the Prime Minister a plan for handling to recover funds for the State Budget.
Article 3. The Ministry of Public Security shall issue temporary license plates for the 36 cars above (for temporary use during APEC) and grant permission for their circulation during the time they serve the APEC 2006 Conferences (including rented cars serving the APEC Conference).
Article 4. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature. The Heads of APEC Sub-committees, the Ministers of Finance, Foreign Affairs, Public Security, Transport, the Chairman of the Government Office, and related units are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
