BASED ON THE DECREES NO. 75/CP dated November 1, 1995 OF THE GOVERNMENT ON THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE MINISTRY OF PLANNING AND INVESTMENT, AND DECREE NO. 75/CP dated October 29, 1993 ISSUING THE NATIONAL ECONOMIC SECTOR SYSTEM.
TO MEET THE NEEDS OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLANNING WORK SUITABLE WITH VIETNAM'S REALITY AND INTERNATIONAL PRACTICES.

Article 1: NOW ISSUED HEREBY WITH THIS DECISION THE SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT PLANNING REPORTING INDICATOR SYSTEM INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING SECTORS AND FIELDS:
1. EDUCATION AND TRAINING
2. HEALTH, NUTRITION AND HEALTH CARE
3. POPULATION AND FAMILY PLANNING
4. SOCIAL ISSUES
5. LABOUR, EMPLOYMENT, WAGES AND INCOME
6. CULTURE AND ART
7. RADIO AND TELEVISION
8. PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORT
9. RESEARCH AND SCIENCE
10. ENVIRONMENT
Article 2: THIS SYSTEM OF INDICATORS SHALL APPLY TO THE PREPARATION AND REPORTING OF ANNUAL AND LONG-TERM PLANS.
Article 3: THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM NOVEMBER 7, 1996. IF ANY MODIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED DURING IMPLEMENTATION, THEY SHALL BE RECOMMENDED TO THE MINISTRY OF PLANNING AND INVESTMENT FOR AMENDMENTS AND SUPPLEMENTS.
Article 4: ALL MINISTRIES, GOVERNMENT-LEVEL AGENCIES, GOVERNMENT BODIES, PROVINCE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEES, CITY PEOPLE'S COMMITTEES UNDER THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT, AND PLAN AND INVESTMENT BODIES AT ALL LEVELS SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCING THIS DECISION.
