Regarding the establishment of wards and communes under Tuy Hòa City and Son Hoa District, Phu Yen Province
and Son Hoa district, Phu Yen province

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman Within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the dossier as mentioned in Sub-clause b, Clause 1, Article 3 above, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will review and submit to the competent authority for decision (Issues exceeding the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' jurisdiction will be referred to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision).The People's Committee of Phu Yen Province and the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. The establishment of wards and communes under Tuy Hoa City and Son Hoa District, Phu Yen Province shall be as follows:
1. Establish Ward 8 of Tuy Hoa City based on 140 hectares of natural area and 7,073 population from Ward 2.
Administrative boundary of Ward 8: East borders Ward 2 and Ward 5; West borders Hoa Tri Commune and Binh Kien Commune; South borders Ward 2 and Hoa Tri Commune; North borders Binh Kien Commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Ward 2 will have 64 hectares of natural area and 8,865 population.
2. Establish Ward 7 of Tuy Hoa City based on 150.8 hectares of natural area and 5,938 population from Ward 5.
Administrative boundary of Ward 7: East borders the East Sea; West borders Ward 5; South borders Ward 6; North borders Binh Kien Commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Ward 5 will have 139.2 hectares of natural area and 9,444 population.
3. Establish Suoi Bac Commune under Son Hoa District based on adjusting 2,528 hectares of natural area and 3,184 population from Son Phuoc Commune; 1,036 hectares of natural area and 828 population from Trung Hoa Village, Cung Son Town.
Suoi Bac Commune has 3,564 hectares of natural area and 4,012 population. Administrative boundary of Suoi Bac Commune: East borders Son Ha Commune and Son Nguyen Commune; West borders Ea Cha Rang Commune and Cung Son Town; South borders Cung Son Town; North borders Son Phuoc Commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries: Son Phuoc Commune will have 9,195 hectares of natural area and 2,766 population. Cung Son Town will have 2,221 hectares of natural area and 8,524 population.
Article 2. THIS DECREE SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE. ALL PRIOR PROVISIONS CONTRARY TO THIS DECREE ARE ABROGATED.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Yen Province, the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department of the Government, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
