Decision No. 31/2002/QĐ-BNN of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development allows the registration of a special type of biological origin plant protection chemical for use in Vietnam. THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Pursuant to Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to Article 29 of the Plant Protection and Quarantine Ordinance promulgated on August 8, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Director General of the Plant Protection Department and the Director of the Science and Technology Quality Product Department.
DECISION:
Article 1. Registering specially one biological origin insecticide type plant protection product into the list of plant protection products permitted for use in Vietnam (attached list).
Article 2. The export and import of the plant protection products issued together with this decision shall be carried out in accordance with Circular 62/2001/TT-BNN dated June 5, 2001 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development guiding the export and import of goods under specialized agricultural management pursuant to Decision 46/2001/QĐ-TTg dated April 4, 2001 of the Government on managing export goods during the period 2001-2005.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of signature.
The Plant Protection Department shall be responsible for providing detailed guidance on safe and effective use of the aforementioned plant protection products.
Article 4. The Minister's Chief of Staff, the Plant Protection Department, the Science and Technology Quality Product Department, the Heads of units under the Ministry, and domestic organizations, individuals, and foreign persons managing, producing, trading, and using plant protection products in Vietnam are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
