DECISION
ON THE ADOPTION OF ADDITIONAL “STANDARDS FOR BUDGET ESTIMATES FOR CONSTRUCTION”

THE MINISTER OF CONSTRUCTION
Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993, providing the tasks, powers and responsibilities of State management by Ministries and agencies at ministerial level;
Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 15/CP dated March 4, 1994, providing the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Construction;
Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 38/1998/NĐ-CP dated June 9, 1998, detailing the implementation of the Ordinance on thrift and anti-waste promulgated by Presidential Decree No. 02/CTN dated March 9, 1998.
At the proposal of the Director of the Institute of Construction Economics.
DECIDES:
Article 1. To adopt and issue with this Decision additional standards for budget estimates for certain types of construction works to be added to the “Standards for Budget Estimates for Construction” issued together with Decision No. 1242/1998/QĐ-BXD dated November 25, 1998 by the Minister of Construction.
Article 2. These additional standards for budget estimates for certain types of construction works shall serve as a basis for establishing basic construction unit prices and preparing construction cost estimates for investment projects.
Article 3. These additional standards for budget estimates for certain types of construction works shall be uniformly applied throughout the country and take effect from January 1, 2003.
