ISSUING REGULATIONS ON THE MANAGEMENT OF STATE PETROLEUM RESERVES

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

BASED ON THE NATIONAL RESERVE LAW dated April 29, 2004;

BASED ON THE DECREE NO. 196/2004/NĐ-CP dated December 2, 2004 of the Government detailing the implementation of the NATIONAL RESERVE LAW;

IN CONSIDERATION OF THE PROPOSAL OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE;

DECISION:

Article 1. ATTACH HERETO is the REGULATION ON THE MANAGEMENT OF STATE PETROLEUM RESERVES pursuant to this decision.

Article 2. This decision shall take effect from May 5, 2010. All previous regulations on the management of state petroleum reserves that conflict with this decision are hereby abolished.

Article 3. The Minister of Finance, the Heads of Ministries and Agencies equivalent to Ministries managing state petroleum reserves shall be responsible for inspecting subordinate reserve units during the implementation of these Regulations. The Ministers, Heads of Ministries and Agencies equivalent to Ministries, Heads of Government Agencies, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, and Heads of related agencies and units shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
