DECREE NO. 32/2000/NĐ-CP OF THE GOVERNMENT DATED AUGUST 11, 2000 ON AMENDING THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMUNES OF VẠN LƯƠNG AND VẠN HƯNG AND THE MARKET TOWN OF VẠN GIÃ IN VẠN NINH DISTRICT, KHÁNH HÒA PROVINCE
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman Within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the dossier as mentioned in Sub-clause b, Clause 1, Article 3 above, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will review and submit to the competent authority for decision (Issues exceeding the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' jurisdiction will be referred to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision).THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF KHÁNH HÒA PROVINCE AND THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE ORGANIZATION-CIVIL SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT,
DECREE:
Article 1. NOW AMEND THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMUNES AND MARKET TOWN OF VẠN GIÃ, VẠN NINH DISTRICT, KHÁNH HÒA PROVINCE AS FOLLOWS:
1. MERGE INTO THE MARKET TOWN OF VẠN GIÃ AN AREA OF 82 HA AND A POPULATION OF 4,150 PERSONS FROM THE HAMLET OF LƯƠNG HẢI IN VẠN LƯƠNG COMMUNE.
2. MERGE INTO VẠN LƯƠNG COMMUNE AN AREA OF 272 HA AND A POPULATION OF 5,031 PERSONS FROM THE HAMLET OF TÂN ĐỨC IN VẠN HƯNG COMMUNE.
After the adjustment of administrative boundaries:
THE MARKET TOWN OF VẠN GIÃ HAS AN AREA OF 285 HA AND A POPULATION OF 19,985 PERSONS.
VẠN LƯƠNG COMMUNE HAS AN AREA OF 6,115 HA AND A POPULATION OF 9,602 PERSONS.
VẠN HƯNG COMMUNE HAS AN AREA OF 4,823 HA AND A POPULATION OF 8,894 PERSONS.
Article 2. This Decree takes effect from the date of signature. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.
Article 3. THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF KHÁNH HÒA PROVINCE, THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE ORGANIZATION-CIVIL SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT, AND THE HEADS OF THE RELATED AUTHORITIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECREE.
