DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF HEALTH

Regarding the issuance of the Diagnostic Imaging Department Design Standard

General hospital - Industry standards

THE MINISTER OF HEALTH

Pursuant to Decree No. 49/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;

Pursuant to Decision No. 1379/QĐ-BYT dated May 7, 1999 of the Minister of Health approving the Project on Standardization of Construction and Design Models for Medical Facilities;

Pursuant to Decision No. 437/QD-BYT dated February 20, 2002 of the Minister of Health on the issuance of the List of Medical Equipment for General Hospitals at Provincial, District, Regional Outpatient Clinics, Commune Health Stations, and Village Health Posts;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Medical Equipment and Health Facilities,

DECISION:

Article 1. Attached hereto is the Industry Standard 52 TCN - CTYT 0040: 2005: Diagnostic Imaging Department Design Standard for General Hospitals - Industry Standard.

Article 2. Directors of central hospitals, sectoral hospitals, directors of provincial health departments, cities directly under the Central Government, and project investors constructing hospitals shall base their new construction or renovation of old, damaged, and deteriorated diagnostic imaging departments on this design standard. When implementing, they should consult the opinions of experts in the field of diagnostic imaging according to specific circumstances.

Article 3. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

Article 4. The Heads of the Office, Department Heads of the Departments of Medical Equipment and Construction, Planning and Finance, Treatment, and other relevant departments of the Ministry of Health; directors of central hospitals, sectoral hospitals, directors of provincial health departments, cities directly under the Central Government, and project investors constructing hospitals are responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
