Amending and supplementing the "Regulations on standards for positions of railway staff directly serving train operations, conditions for training institutions, and content and curriculum for training railway staff directly serving train operations"
issued together with Decision No. 67/2005/QĐ-BGTVT dated December 2, 2005
of the Minister of the Ministry of Transport
Pursuant to Decree No. 34/2003/NĐ-CP dated April 4, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;
Article 1. Amend and supplement Clause 2 of Article 13 of the "Regulations on standards for positions of railway staff directly serving train operations, conditions for training institutions, and content and curriculum for training railway staff directly serving train operations" issued together with Decision No. 67/2005/QĐ-BGTVT dated December 2, 2005 of the Minister of the Ministry of Transport as follows:

MINISTER OF TRANSPORT
Pursuant to the Railway Law dated June 14, 2005;
"2. Train and upgrade staff who do not have relevant certificates or qualifications for their current positions to ensure that this group meets the required standards according to the regulations within the following deadlines: - By December 31, 2010 for traffic controllers already working before December 31, 2005; - By December 31, 2006 for other positions. During the training period, appropriate staffing must be ensured to maintain safe train operations."
At the proposal of the Director of the Cadre and Civil Servant Department,
DECISION:
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. The Heads of the Office, Inspectorate, Departments, Vietnam Railway Administration, Heads of agencies, units, and individuals concerned are responsible for implementing this Decision.
