Pursuant to the Law on Encouragement and Reward dated November 26, 2003, and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the Law on Encouragement and Reward dated June 14, 2005;
Implementing Directive No. 19-CT/TW dated December 22, 2007 of the Politburo on the Commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Call for Patriotic Struggle; Decision No. 258/QD-TTg dated March 4, 2008 of the Prime Minister designating June 11 each year as the Traditional Day for Patriotic Struggle;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the Central Steering Committee for Encouragement and Reward (Proposal No. 298/TTr-BTĐKT dated March 14, 2008),
DECISION:
Article 1. Establishing the State Organizing Committee for the Commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Call for Patriotic Struggle (June 11, 1948-June 11, 2008), consisting of the following members:
1. Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung, Member of the Politburo, Prime Minister, Chairman of the Central Steering Committee for Encouragement and Reward, Chairperson;
2. Ms. Nguyen Thi Doan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President, First Deputy Chairman of the Central Steering Committee for Encouragement and Reward, Deputy Chairperson;
3. Representative of the Central Propaganda Department, Member;
4. Representative of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Member;
5. Representative of the General Confederation of Labor of Vietnam, Member;
6. Representative of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Member;
7. Representative of the Ministry of Finance, Member;
8. Representative of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Member;
9. Representative of the Ministry of Information and Communications, Member;
10. Representative of the Ministry of Public Security, Member;
11. Representative of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Member;
12. Representative of the People's Committee of Hanoi City, Member;

Article 2. The State Organizing Committee for the Commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Call for Patriotic Struggle shall be responsible for organizing and directing the implementation of commemorative activities according to the plan, calling upon the entire Party, the entire military, and all strata of the people to actively engage in patriotic struggle.
Article 3. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, and government-affiliated agencies, Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, and Chairman of the Central Steering Committee for Encouragement and Reward shall implement this Decision./.
