Regarding the establishment of wards and communes under Bac Giang City and Yen The District, Bac Giang Province

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman Within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the dossier as mentioned in Sub-clause b, Clause 1, Article 3 above, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will review and submit to the competent authority for decision (Issues exceeding the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' jurisdiction will be referred to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision).The People's Committee of Bac Giang Province and the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department of the Government.
DECREE:
Article 1. Now establish the wards and communes under Bac Giang City and Yen The District, Bac Giang Province as follows:
1. Establish Tho Xuan Ward under Bac Giang City based on 439 hectares of natural area and 12,309 population from Tho Xuan Commune.
Administrative boundary of Tho Xuan Ward: East borders Xuong Giang Commune; West borders Song Mai Commune; South borders Tran Phu Ward and Ngo Quyen Ward; North borders Lang Giang District.
2. Establish Xuong Giang Commune under Bac Giang City based on 250 hectares of natural area and 6,218 remaining population from Tho Xuan Commune.
Administrative boundary of Xuong Giang Commune: East and North border Lang Giang District; West borders Tho Xuan Ward; South borders Ding Ke Commune.
3. Establish Hoang Van Thu Ward under Bac Giang City based on 52 hectares of natural area and 6,469 population from Le Loi Ward; 115 hectares of natural area and 2,697 population from Ding Ke Commune.
Hoang Van Thu Ward has 167 hectares of natural area and 9,166 population.
Administrative boundary of Hoang Van Thu Ward: East borders Ding Ke Commune; West borders Le Loi Ward; South borders Le Loi Ward and Ding Ke Commune; North borders Ngo Quyen Ward.
After the adjustment of administrative boundaries:
Le Loi Ward has 80 hectares of natural area and 10,031 population.
Ding Ke Commune has 432 hectares of natural area and 10,055 population.
4. Establish Dong Tien Commune under Yen The District, Bac Giang Province based on 3,700 hectares of natural area and 3,116 population from Dong Vuong Commune.
Administrative boundary of Dong Tien Commune: East and North border Lang Son Province; West borders Canh Nau Commune; South borders Dong Vuong Commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Dong Vuong Commune has 2,436 hectares of natural area and 3,849 population.
Article 2. This Decree takes effect fifteen days after its issuance. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang Province, the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department of the Government, and the Heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
