APPROVING THE NUMBER AND LIST OF ELECTION UNITS AND THE NUMBER OF DELEGATES TO BE ELECTED IN EACH ELECTION UNIT FOR THE PERIOD 2004-2009 OF THE PEOPLE'S COUNCIL OF HA GIANG PROVINCE

THE GOVERNMENT
WHEREAS Article 9, Article 10, and Article 11 of the Law on Election of Delegates to the People's Councils dated November 26, 2003;
WHEREAS Resolution No. 429/2003/NQ-UBTVQH of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly dated December 23, 2003 on fixing the date for the election of delegates to the People's Councils at all levels for the period 2004-2009;
AT THE REQUEST OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PROVINIAL PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF HA GIANG PROVINCE AND THE MINISTER OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS,
DECREE
Article 1. APPROVES THE NUMBER OF 13 (THIRTEEN) ELECTION UNITS, 55 (FIFTY-FIVE) DELEGATES TO THE PEOPLE'S COUNCIL OF HA GIANG PROVINCE AND THE NUMBER OF DELEGATES TO BE ELECTED IN EACH ELECTION UNIT FOR THE PERIOD 2004-2009 (ATTACHED LIST);
Article 2. This Decree takes effect 15 days following its publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COUNCIL, THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PROVINCIAL PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF HA GIANG PROVINCE, THE MINISTER OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS AND THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE GOVERNMENT OFFICE SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS DECREE.
