DECISION

REGARDING THE ADOPTION OF VIETNAM STANDARDS

THE MINISTER OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

WHEREAS Decree No. 54/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 19, 2003 of the Government stipulates the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology; Decree No. 28/2004/NĐ-CP dated January 16, 2004 of the Government amends and supplements certain articles of Decree No. 54/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 19, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology;

WHEREAS the Quality Goods Ordinance dated December 24, 1999;

At the request of the Director General of the Standardization, Measurement, and Quality Control Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. ADOPTING FOUR VIETNAM STANDARDS AS FOLLOWS:

1. TCVN 7369: 2004 (ISO/TR 11046: 1994) Soil Quality - Determination of Mineral Oil Content - Infrared Spectroscopy and Gas Chromatography Method.

2. TCVN 7370-1: 2004 (ISO 14869-1: 2001) Soil Quality - Extraction for Total Element Content Determination

Part 1: Extraction with Hydrofluoric and Perchloric Acids.

3. TCVN 7371: 2004 (ISO 15178: 2000) Soil Quality - Determination of Total Sulfur by Dry Combustion.

4. TCVN 6859-3: 2004 (ISO 11268-3: 1999) Soil Quality - Impact of Contaminants on Earthworms

Part 3: Guidance for Determining Impact under Field Conditions.

Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette./.
