DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF HEALTH

On issuing the List of Radiopharmaceuticals

and labeled compounds for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes

THE MINISTER OF HEALTH

Pursuant to the Drug Law No. 34/2005/QH11 dated June 14, 2005;

Pursuant to the Radiation Safety and Control Ordinance dated June 25, 1996;

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 50/1998/NĐ-CP dated July 16, 1998 detailing the implementation of the Radiation Safety and Control Ordinance;

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 63/2005/NĐ-CP dated May 16, 2005 on the issuance of the Health Insurance Regulations;

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 79/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 9, 2006 detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Drug Law;

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 49/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2003 on the functions, tasks, authorities, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;

Pursuant to the Joint Circular No. 2237/1999/TTLT/BKHCNMT-BYT dated December 28, 1999 of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Environment and the Ministry of Health guiding the implementation of radiation safety in healthcare;

Pursuant to the Inter-Ministerial Circular No. 14/TTLB dated September 30, 1995 of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and the State Price Committee guiding the implementation of partial hospital fee collection and the Joint Circular No. 03/2006/TTLT-BYT-BTC-BLĐTBXH dated January 26, 2006 of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs supplementing the Inter-Ministerial Circular No. 14/TTLB dated September 30, 1995 of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and the State Price Committee;

Upon the proposal of the Director of the Treatment Department and the Director of the Health Insurance Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. The List of Radiopharmaceuticals and labeled compounds for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes attached to this Decision is hereby issued.

Article 2. Radiopharmaceuticals and labeled compounds listed in the attached List of this Decision shall serve as the basis for reimbursement of treatment costs for patients, including those with health insurance cards.

Article 3. Healthcare facilities permitted to use drugs in the attached List of this Decision shall be responsible for organizing supply and management in accordance with current regulations on Drugs, radiation safety, and control.

Article 4. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

Article 5. The following officials are responsible for implementing this Decision: Director of the Office, Director of the Inspectorate, Directors of the Treatment Department and the Health Insurance Department, Director of the Vietnam National Pharmaceutical Administration, Heads of relevant Departments and Bureaus, Directors of Provincial Health Departments, Heads of Health Services of centrally governed cities, Heads of Health Services of sectors, and Directors of hospitals and institutes under the Ministry of Health.
