Decision No. 33/2007/QD-NHNN on amending Point 5 of Appendix No. 3 of the Regulations on the banking code system used in payment transactions through the State Bank issued together with Decision No. 02/2006/QD-NHNN dated January 18, 2006 of the Governor of the State Bank.

DECISION OF THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

Amending Point 5 of Appendix No. 3 to the Regulations on the Banking Code System Used in Payment Transactions through the State Bank of Vietnam issued together with Decision No. 02/2006/QĐ-NHNN dated January 18, 2006 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam

GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 1997 and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 2003;

Pursuant to the Law on Credit Institutions 1997 and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Credit Institutions 2004;

Pursuant to Decree No. 52/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 19, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;

At the proposal of the Head of the Payment Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. Amends Point 5 of Appendix No. 3 to the Regulations on the Banking Code System Used in Payment Transactions through the State Bank of Vietnam issued together with Decision No. 02/2006/QĐ-NHNN dated January 18, 2006 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam as follows:

Changes the transaction name of Natexis Banques Populaires - Branch in Vietnam to Natexis Bank - Branch in Ho Chi Minh City, retaining the original bank code as follows:

5. Foreign bank branches in Vietnam:

Article 2. This Decision takes effect from August 6, 2007.

Article 3. The Director of the Office, the Head of the Payment Department, the Director of the Information Technology Department of the State Bank, the Heads of units under the State Bank, the Directors of the State Bank Trading Departments, the Directors of the State Bank Branches in provinces and centrally governed cities; Chairmen of Management Boards, General Managers (Directors) of organizations providing payment services are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
