CIRCULAR

Regarding the addition of plant species to the List of Plant Species Protected

Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to the Intellectual Property Law No. 50/2005/QH11, November 29, 2005;

Pursuant to Decree No. 104/2006/NĐ-CP dated September 22, 2006 on detailed regulations of certain provisions of the Intellectual Property Law concerning rights over plant varieties.

At the request of the Director of the Crop Production Department, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development issues this Circular supplementing plant species to the List of Plant Species Protected as follows:

Article 1. Attached hereto are the genera and species of plants with the following names added to the List of Plant Species Protected:

Article 3. This Circular takes effect forty-five days from the date of issuance.

Article 4. The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Crop Production Department, the Heads of the Science and Technology and Environment Department, the Directors of the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development of provinces and centrally governed cities, the Head of the New Plant Variety Protection Office, the Heads of relevant units and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
