Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated June 19, 2015;
On the basis of the Ordinance on Implementation of Democracy in Communes, Wards, and Towns dated April 20, 2007;
Pursuant to the Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils dated November 20, 2015;
Pursuant to Joint Resolution No. 525/2012/NQLT/UBTVQH13-ĐCTUBTWMTTQVN dated September 27, 2012 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly and the Central Steering Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on the meetings with citizens by members of the National Assembly;
Pursuant to Decree No. 138/2016/NĐ-CP dated October 1, 2016 of the Government promulgating the Working Regulations of the Government;
Pursuant to Decree No. 123/2016/ND-CP dated September 1, 2016 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 150/2016/NĐ-CP dated November 11, 2016 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Government Office;
At the proposal of the Minister, Head of the Government Office;
The Prime Minister issues this Decision on the Regulation on receiving, handling, and responding to citizens' petitions transferred by the National Assembly.
Article 1. Attached hereto is the Regulation on receiving, handling, and responding to citizens' petitions transferred by the National Assembly.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from September 15, 2017.
Article 3. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-attached agencies, Permanent Members of People's Councils, Chairpersons of Provincial People's Committees under the central government are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
