Regarding the establishment of Dong Ha City under Quang Tri Province

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Interior and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri Province,
RESOLUTION:
Article 1. Establish Dong Ha City under Quang Tri Province based on the entire natural area, population, and administrative units directly subordinate to Dong Ha Town.
Dong Ha City has a natural area of 7,306.25 hectares and a population of 93,756, with 9 commune-level administrative units, including wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Dong Giang, Dong Thanh, Dong Luong, and Dong Le. The administrative boundary of Dong Ha City: East and South border Tri Phong District; West borders Cam Lo District; North borders Gio Linh District and Cam Lo District.
Article 2. This Resolution takes effect from the date of its promulgation.
Article 3. The Minister of Interior, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri Province, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Resolution./.
