REGARDING THE STATUS OF ROUTE LTL.50 (OLD) AS A NATIONAL HIGHWAY.

THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORTATION

Pursuant to Decree No. 15-CP dated March 2, 1993 of the Government stipulating the tasks, powers, and responsibilities for state management by Ministries and ministerial-level agencies.

To enhance the effectiveness of Route LTL.50 in serving the social life of the people in the areas it passes through and to support traffic on National Highway 1 when necessary.

Considering the proposal of the People's Committee of Long An Province at Document No. 249/CV93 dated August 12, 1993 and the People's Committee of Tien Giang Province at Document No. 475/UB dated October 19, 1993.

 

Pursuant to …;

Article 1: Now, Route LTL.50 (old), starting from Nhị Thiên Đường Bridge and ending at Go Cong Town, is designated as National Highway 50 with a total length of 48.925 km, including 10.756 km in Ho Chi Minh City, 23.429 km in Long An Province, and 14.740 km in Tien Giang Province.

Article 2: As of April 1, 1994, the National Highway 50 specified in Article 1 above shall be funded by the State Budget for construction, management, and maintenance.

Article 3: The General Director of the Seventh Highway Management Zone is assigned responsibility for managing National Highway 50 according to the prescribed policies and regulations.

Article 4: The Directors of the Transportation Departments of Ho Chi Minh City, Long An Province, and Tien Giang Province, and the General Director of the Seventh Highway Management Zone are responsible for organizing the transfer of management duties for National Highway 50 as stipulated in this Decision.

Article 5: The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Vietnam Highway Administration Bureau, the General Director of the Seventh Highway Management Zone, the Directors of the Transportation Departments of Ho Chi Minh City, Long An Province, and Tien Giang Province, and the Heads of the Planning and Investment Department, Finance and Accounting Department, Science and Technology Department, Personnel and Labor Department, Public Security and Traffic Department, and other advisory departments under the Ministry are responsible for implementing this Decision according to their respective functions and regulations.
