Circular No. 34/2001/TT-BGDĐT amends and supplements Circular No. 14/1999/TT/BGDĐT dated March 22, 1999 on guiding the implementation of Decree No. 56/1998/NĐ-CP of the Government regarding forms, subjects, and criteria for commendation by the Government, Ministries, agencies at the level of ministries, and provincial-level People's Committees; it specifically elaborates on the criteria for awarding the Labor Medal.

CIRCULAR

Regarding the guidance on implementing Decree No. 56/1998/NĐ-CP of the Government stipulating forms, subjects, and criteria for awards granted by the Government, ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government, and People's Committees at all levels;

to specify the criteria for awarding Labor Medals;After a period of implementing Circular No. 14/1999/TT-BGD&ĐT dated March 22, 1999, of the Ministry of Education and Training guiding the implementation of Decree No. 56/1998/NĐ-CP of the Government stipulating forms, subjects, and criteria for awards granted by the Government, ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government, and People's Committees at all levels; specifying the criteria for awarding Labor Medals, the Ministry of Education and Training now amends and supplements the provisions at Point 1, Section IV of this Circular concerning the composition of the School Competition and Award Council for vocational high schools, colleges, and universities as follows:

"- Chairperson of the Competition and Award Council: Principal- Vice-Chairperson of the Competition and Award Council: Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Trade Union.

- Members: Deputy Principals, Heads of Departments: Organization-Human Resources, Training, Political Work, Administrative-General Affairs, Scientific Research, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Standing Member of the Competition and Award Council."

All previous provisions contrary to this Circular are abolished; other provisions of Circular No. 14/1999/TT-BGD&ĐT dated March 22, 1999, of the Ministry of Education and Training remain valid.

- Deputy Chairman of the Commendation Council: Secretary of the Party Committee, President of the Trade Union.

- Members: Vice Principal, Heads of Departments: Organization-Human Resources, Training, Political Work, Administrative-General Affairs, Scientific Research, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Standing Member of the Commendation Council.

This Circular takes effect fifteen days from the date of signature.

All previous provisions contrary to this Circular are abolished; other provisions of Circular No. 14/1999/TT-BGD&ĐT dated March 22, 1999 of the Ministry of Education and Training remain valid.
