DECREE
Amending and supplementing Article 3 of Decree No. 02/2018/NĐ-CP dated January 4, 2018 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Vietnam Television
WHEREAS, the Law on Organization of the Government dated June 19, 2015;
WHEREAS, Decree No. 10/2016/NĐ-CP dated February 1, 2016 of the Government on agencies under the Government;
WHEREAS, Decree No. 47/2019/NĐ-CP dated June 5, 2019 of the Government amending and supplementing some articles of Decree No. 10/2016/NĐ-CP dated February 1, 2016 of the Government on agencies under the Government;
At the proposal of the Minister of Information and Communications;
THE GOVERNMENT promulgates this Decree amending and supplementing Article 3 of Decree No. 02/2018/NĐ-CP dated January 4, 2018 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Vietnam Television.
Article 1. Amending and supplementing Article 3 of Decree No. 02/2018/NĐ-CP dated January 4, 2018 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Vietnam Television as follows:
"Article 3. Organizational Structure
1. Office.
2. Personnel Management Board.
Section 3. Planning and Finance Board.
4. Inspection Board.
5. International Cooperation Department.
6. Editorial Office.
7. News Department.
8. Science and Education Department.
9. Ethnic Television Board.
10. International Television Board.
11. Arts Department.
12. Entertainment Program Production Department.
13. Sports Program Production Department.
14. Cable Television Editing Department.
15. Youth Department.
16. Documentary and Reporting Center.
17. Television Film Production Center.
18. Archive Center.
19. Southern Region Television Center.
20. Central Highlands-Western Highlands Television Center.
21. Digital Content Production and Development Center.
22. Overseas Resident Offices of Vietnam Television established in accordance with the law.
23. Program Production Technical Center.
24. Transmission and Broadcasting Technical Center.
25. Fine Arts Center.
26. Training and Professional Development Center.
27. Advertising and Service Center.
28. Information Technology and Broadcasting Technology Center.
Units specified from Clause 1 to Clause 5 of this Article are organizations assisting the General Director; the unit specified in Clause 6 of this Article is an organization assisting the General Director and producing and broadcasting programs; units specified from Clause 7 to Clause 25 of this Article are program production and broadcasting organizations; units specified from Clause 26 to Clause 28 of this Article are other public service organizations.
The General Director of Vietnam Television shall report to the Prime Minister for comments on the establishment, dissolution, and organizational restructuring of other units within their authority as provided by law.
The Editorial Office shall be organized into 15 rooms; the Office shall be organized into 10 rooms."
Article 2. Effectiveness and responsibility for implementation
1. This Decree takes effect from May 10, 2020.
2. The Minister of Information and Communications, the General Director of Vietnam Television, the Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of governmental agencies, Chairpersons of provincial people's committees, and municipal people's committees directly under the central government are responsible for implementing this Decree./
