DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER
Regarding the upgrading of the South Branch of the Survey and Planning Institute for Irrigation to
the Southern Institute for Irrigation Planning under
the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/ND-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Upon the proposal of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Minister of Home Affairs,
DECISION:
Article 1. Upgrade the South Branch of the Survey and Planning Institute for Irrigation under the Survey and Planning Institute to the Southern Institute for Irrigation Planning under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The Southern Institute for Irrigation Planning is a self-financing public service organization; it has legal personality; it has its own seal; it is allowed to open accounts at the State Treasury and commercial banks in accordance with the law; its English name is: Southern Institute For Water Resources Planning (abbreviated as SIWRP); its main office is located in Ho Chi Minh City.
Article 2. The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development shall specify in detail the functions, tasks, powers, organizational structure, and operational regulations of the Southern Institute for Irrigation Planning.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
The Ministers, Heads of Ministries equivalent to Ministries, Heads of Government Agencies, and Chairmen of Provincial and Central City People's Committees are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
