Regarding the Organization of State Inspection for Culture - Information

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to the Inspection Ordinance dated April 1, 1990;
Pursuant to Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 of the Government on the tasks, powers, and responsibilities of state management by Ministries and ministerial-level agencies, and Decree No. 81/CP dated November 8, 1993 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture - Information; In accordance with the proposal of the Minister of Culture - Information, the Minister - Head of the Organizational and Cadre Affairs Council of the Government, and the Chief Inspector General of the State,
DECISION:
Article 1. The State Inspection for culture - information has the function of conducting state inspection and specialized inspection in the fields of publishing, press, printing, book distribution, cinema, photography, performing arts, fine arts, libraries, museum preservation, advertising, and other areas under the state management of the culture - information sector.
Article 2. The organizational system of the State Inspection for culture - information includes:
1. The Inspection Department of the Ministry of Culture - Information is an agency subordinate to the Ministry of Culture - Information, assisting the Minister in carrying out the function of state inspection and specialized inspection in the culture - information sector throughout the country.
2. The Inspection Department of the Provincial Department of Culture - Information is an agency subordinate to the Provincial Department of Culture - Information, assisting the Director of the Provincial Department of Culture - Information in carrying out the function of state inspection and specialized inspection in the culture - information sector within their respective provinces and centrally-administered cities.
3. The Inspection Department of the Ministry of Culture - Information and the Inspection Department of the Provincial Department of Culture - Information have an Inspector-in-Chief, Deputy Inspectors-in-Chief, and inspectors.
The Inspection Department of the Ministry of Culture - Information and the Inspection Department of the Provincial Department of Culture - Information shall have their own seals and separate accounts.
Article 3. The Minister of Culture - Information shall specify the specific duties and powers of the Inspection Department of the Ministry of Culture - Information and provide guidance on the duties and powers of the Inspection Department of the Provincial Department of Culture - Information after reaching consensus with the Chief Inspector General of the State and the Minister, Head of the Organizational and Cadre Affairs Council of the Government.
Article 4. This Decision takes effect from the date of issuance. Any previous regulations that conflict with this Decision are hereby abolished.
The Minister of Culture - Information, the Minister, Head of the Organizational and Cadre Affairs Council of the Government, the Chief Inspector General of the State, Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally-administered cities are responsible for implementing this Decision.
