Regarding the recognition of new forestry tree varieties
THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/ND-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; Decree No. 75/2009/ND-CP dated September 10, 2009 of the Government amending Article 3 of Decree No. 01/2008/ND-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government;
Pursuant to the Seed Act No. 15/2004/PL-UBTVQH11 dated March 24, 2004 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Session XI;
Pursuant to the Regulation on the management of forestry tree varieties issued together with Decision No. 89/2005/QD-BNN dated December 29, 2005 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Considering the proposal at the meeting minutes of September 14, 2010 of the Recognition Board for New Forestry Tree Varieties established pursuant to Decision No. 155/QD-TCLN-PTR dated July 7, 2010 of the Director General of the Forest Administration on the establishment of the Recognition Board for New Forestry Tree Varieties;
At the proposal of the Director General of the Forest Management Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. Now hereby recognizes two Acacia auriculiformis varieties (A. auriculiformis) as national varieties, two Acacia auriculiformis (A. auriculiformis) varieties as advanced technology varieties researched and developed by the Vietnam Forest Science Institute (attached list).
Article 2. The authors' collective and the Vietnam Forest Science Institute shall be responsible for disseminating and guiding related techniques concerning the newly recognized varieties and coordinating with the Forest Administration, the National Agricultural Extension Center to quickly introduce these new varieties into production in suitable locations.
Article 3. The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Director General of the Forest Administration, the Director of the National Agricultural Extension Center, the Director of the Vietnam Forest Science Institute, the authors' collective, and the heads of relevant units shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.

- Applicable area: applicable to Binh Duong's Bau Bang, Lam Dong's Lang Hanh, and similar ecological conditions;
