Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Decree No. 13/CP dated March 2, 1993 of the Government promulgating regulations on agricultural extension work;
At the proposal of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Organization Department of the Government,
DECISION:
Article 1. The Agricultural Extension Service Bureau is an agency under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, assisting the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development in performing state management functions regarding crop cultivation (excluding forestry), animal husbandry, and government policies on agricultural extension work.
The Agricultural Extension Service Bureau has legal personality, its own seal, operational funds provided from the State budget, and is authorized to open separate accounts.
The headquarters of the Directorate is located in Hanoi City.
Article 2. Based on Decree No. 13/CP dated March 2, 1993 of the Government regulating agricultural extension work, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development shall specify the tasks, powers, and organizational structure and staffing of the Agricultural Extension Service Bureau.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect from the date of issuance, all previous provisions contrary to this Decision are abolished.
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of governmental agencies, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Decision.
