DECREE NO. 35/2000/NĐ-CP OF AUGUST 18, 2000 ISSUED BY THE GOVERNMENT ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF COMMUNES AND WARD UNDER MUONG LAI DISTRICT AND DIEN BIEN PHU CITY, LAICHAU PROVINCE
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization The Government on September 30, 1992,
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Laichau Province and the Ministry THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT DELEGATES TO VIETNAM RUBBER JOINT STOCK CORPORATION THE AUTHORITY TO RECRUIT, MANAGE, AND USE THE STAFF ESTABLISHMENT FOR HEALTH AFFAIRS BELONGING TO THE CORPORATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE RUBBER INDUSTRY AND SPECIFICALLY AS FOLLOWS: Establish Dak Song district based on the entire natural area and population of two communes Dak Rung and Truong Xuan in Dak Nong district; three communes Dak Mol, Thuan Hạnh and Dak Song in Dak Mil district; Dak Song district has 80,811 hectares of natural area and 28,380 inhabitants, including five direct administrative units which are communes: Dak Rung, Truong Xuan, Dak Mol, Thuan Hạnh and Dak Song commune. Administrative boundary of Dak Song district: East borders Krông Nô district and Dak Nong district; West borders Cambodia and Dak RLa district; South borders Dak Nong district; North borders Dak Mil district. After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Dak Song district: Dak Nong district remains with 172,892 hectares of natural area and 27,007 inhabitants, including nine direct administrative units comprising communes: Quang Khe, Dak Ha, Dak Rmang, Quang Thanh, Dak Plao, Dak Som, Dak Nia, Quang Son and Gia Nghia town. Dak Mil district remains with 68,352 hectares of natural area and 64,560 inhabitants, including eight direct administrative units comprising communes: Duc Minh, Duc Manh, Thuan An, Dak Lao, Dak Gan, Dak RLa, Dak Sak and Dak Mil town.
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the establishment of communes and ward under Muong Lay District and Dien Bien Phu City, Laichau Province is as follows:
1. Establish Nà Hỳ Commune under Muong Lay District based on 44,284 hectares of natural area and 10,441 population of Chà Cang Commune.

The administrative boundary of Nà Hỳ Commune: East, West, and South bordering the Lao People's Democratic Republic; North bordering Chà Cang Commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Chà Cang Commune has 36,220 hectares of natural area and 3,193 population.
2. Establish Tan Thanh Ward under Dien Bien Phu City based on 102 hectares of natural area and 8,210 population of Mường Thanh Ward.
Tan Thanh Ward has 102 hectares of natural area and 8,210 population.
The administrative boundary of Tan Thanh Ward: East borders Noong Bua Commune; West borders Thanh Binh Ward; South borders Mường Thanh Ward; North borders Him Lam Ward.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Mường Thanh Ward has 179 hectares of natural area and 8,709 population.
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Laichau Province, the Minister, the Director of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government, and the Heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
