Decision No. 35/2007/QD-TTg on the establishment of the Vietnam Sub-committee within the Joint Committee for Economic, Trade, Investment, and Technology Transfer Cooperation between Vietnam and Denmark

DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER

on the establishment of the Vietnam Sub-committee within the Joint Government Committee

for economic cooperation, trade, investment, and technology transfer

between Vietnam and Denmark

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to Circular No. 33/07/TGJ dated February 13, 2007 of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark notifying the Danish Government's approval regarding the establishment of the "Joint Government Committee for economic cooperation, trade, investment, and technology transfer between Vietnam and Denmark";The Danish Government has approved the establishment of the "Joint Government Committee for economic cooperation, trade, investment, and technology transfer between Vietnam and Denmark"; Establishing the Vietnam Sub-committee within the Joint Government Committee for economic cooperation, trade, investment, and technology transfer between Vietnam and Denmark, abbreviated as the "Vietnam-Denmark Joint Government Cooperation Committee," with the following composition: - Chairperson of the Sub-committee: Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment;

- Regular members of the Sub-committee include representatives at the Department level from the Ministries of Planning and Investment, Foreign Affairs, Fisheries, Trade, Science and Technology, Agriculture and Rural Development, and Finance. - Secretary of the Sub-committee: A staff member at the Department level or equivalent from the Office of the Government. Depending on the agenda of each session of the Vietnam-Denmark Joint Government Cooperation Committee, the Chairperson of the Sub-committee may invite representatives from relevant ministries, sectors, and localities to participate.

DECISION:

Article 1. The Sub-committee shall use the seal of the Ministry of Planning and Investment. Operating funds for the activities of the Sub-committee shall be allocated in the annual state budget of the Ministry of Planning and Investment in accordance with the State Budget Law.

Ministers, Heads of agencies concerned, Chairperson, Secretary, and regular members of the Sub-committee are responsible for implementing this Decision and organizing the operation of the Sub-committee in accordance with Decision No. 258/TTg dated April 29, 1995 of the Prime Minister on the organization and operation of the Vietnam Sub-committee within the Joint Government Committee for economic cooperation, science and technology, and cultural exchange with foreign countries.

- The regular members of the Sub-committee include representatives at the Department level from the Ministries of Planning and Investment, Foreign Affairs, Fisheries, Trade, Science and Technology, Agriculture and Rural Development, and Finance.

- Secretary of the Sub-committee: A staff member at the Department level or equivalent from the Government Office. Depending on the agenda of each session of the Joint Committee for Vietnam-Denmark Cooperation, the Chairman of the Sub-committee may invite representatives from relevant ministries, sectors, and localities to participate.

Article 2. The Sub-committee shall use the seal of the Ministry of Planning and Investment. The funds serving the activities of the Sub-committee shall be allocated in the annual budget estimate of the Ministry of Planning and Investment in accordance with the State Budget Law.

Article 3. This Decision shall take effect from the date of signing.

Article 4. The Ministers, Heads of relevant agencies, the Chairman, Secretary, and regular members of the Sub-committee are responsible for implementing this Decision and organizing the operation of the Sub-committee in compliance with Decision No. 258/TTg dated April 29, 1995 of the Prime Minister regarding the organization and operation of the Sub-committee in the Joint Committee for Economic, Scientific and Technical, and Cultural Cooperation with foreign countries.
