Article 1. Adjustment of administrative boundaries of communes, establishment of communes under Chơn Thành district, Bình Long district, and Phước Long district; adjustment of administrative boundaries of Bình Long district and Phước Long district to establish Bình Long city and Phước Long city; establishment of wards directly under Bình Long city and Phước Long city, Province of Bình Phước as follows:
I. ADJUSTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES OF COMMUNES AND ESTABLISHMENT OF COMMUNES
UNDER CHƠN THÀNH DISTRICT, BÌNH LONG DISTRICT, AND PHƯỚC LONG DISTRICT
1. Adjusting the entire 2,916.37 hectares of natural area and 4,569 population of Tân Quan commune, Chơn Thành district, under the management of Bình Long district.
Bình Long district has 79,008.33 hectares of natural area and 153,271 population, with 16 direct administrative units including communes: Thanh An, An Khương, Thanh Bình, Tân Khai, Đồng Nơ, Tân Hiệp, Minh Tâm, Minh Đức, Tân Lợi, Phước An, Tân Hưng, Thanh Lương, Thanh Phú, An Phú, Tân Quan, and An Lộc town.
Administrative boundary of Bình Long district: East borders Phước Long district; West borders Tây Ninh province; South borders Chơn Thành district; North borders Lộc Ninh district.
2. Establishing Phước Tân commune under Phước Long district based on adjusting 12,262.02 hectares of natural area and 6,752 population from Phước Tín commune.

1. Establishment of Bình Long city under Bình Phước Province
Establishing Bình Long city under Bình Phước Province based on adjusting 12,628.56 hectares of natural area and 57,590 population of Bình Long district (including the entire natural area and population of Thanh Phú commune, Thanh Lương commune, and An Lộc town; 1,468.40 hectares of natural area and 7,072 population of An Phú commune; 1,601.32 hectares of natural area and 5,222 population of Thanh Bình commune).
Bình Long city has 12,628.56 hectares of natural area and 57,590 population.
Administrative boundary of Bình Long city: East, West, and South border Hớn Quản district; North border Lộc Ninh district.
2. Establishment of wards under Bình Long city
a) Establishing An Lộc ward under Bình Long city based on adjusting 167.82 hectares of natural area and 5,100 population of An Lộc town; 862.22 hectares of natural area and 3,499 population of An Phú commune.
An Lộc ward has 1,030.04 hectares of natural area and 8,599 population.
Administrative boundary of An Lộc ward: East borders Phú Thịnh ward and Phú Đức ward; West borders An Phú commune and Minh Tâm commune, Hớn Quản district; South borders Hưng Chiến ward; North borders Thanh Phú commune.
b) Establishing Hưng Chiến ward under Bình Long city based on adjusting 113.61 hectares of natural area and 4,320 population of An Lộc town; 606.18 hectares of natural area and 3,573 population of An Phú commune; 1,601.32 hectares of natural area and 5,222 population of Thanh Bình commune.
Hưng Chiến ward has 2,321.11 hectares of natural area and 13,115 population.
Administrative boundary of Hưng Chiến ward: East borders Phú Đức ward, Bình Long city and Thanh Bình commune, Hớn Quản district; West borders Minh Tâm commune and Minh Đức commune, Hớn Quản district; South borders Thanh Bình commune, Hớn Quản district; North borders An Lộc ward.

District of Binh Long remains with 66,379.77 hectares of natural area and 95,681 population (renamed to District Hon Quan), with 13 directly subordinate administrative units, including communes: Thanh An, An Khuong, Tan Khai, Dong No, Tan Hiep, Minh Duc, Minh Tam, Tan Loi, Phuoc An, Tan HUNG, Thanh Binh, An Phu and commune Tan Quan.

1. Establishing Phuoc Long City under Binh Phuoc Province
Establishing Phuoc Long City under Binh Phuoc Province based on adjusting 11,883.93 hectares of natural area and 50,019 population from Phuoc Long District (including the entire natural area and population of Thac Mo Town, Phuoc Binh Town, Son Giang Commune, Long Giang Commune, Phuoc Tin Commune; 540.17 hectares of natural area and 3,803 population of Binh Son Commune; 423.67 hectares of natural area and 2,542 population of Binh Tan Commune).
Phuoc Long City has 11,883.93 hectares of natural area and 50,019 population.
Administrative boundary of Phuoc Long City: East borders Bu Dang District; West, South, North border Bu Gia Map District.
2. Establishing ward units under Phuoc Long City

Phuoc Long District remains with 173,612.94 hectares of natural area and 147,967 population (renamed to Bu Gia Map District), with 18 directly subordinate administrative units, including communes: Dak O, Bu Gia Map, Binh Thang, Duc Hạnh, Phu Van, Phu Nghia, Da Kia, Phuoc Minh, Binh Tan, Binh Son, Long Binh, Phuoc Tan, Long HUNG, Bu Nho, Long Ha, Phu Rieng, Phu Trung and commune Long Tan.
Administrative boundary of Bu Gia Map District: East borders Tuy Duc District, Dak Nong Province and Bu Dang District, Binh Phuoc Province; West borders Hon Quan District, Loc Ninh District and Bu Dop District; South borders Dong Phu District; North borders Cambodia.
Binh Phuoc Province has 687,206.23 hectares of natural area and 848,330 population, with 10 directly subordinate administrative units, including cities: Dong Xoe, Phuoc Long, Binh Long and districts: Dong Phu, Chon Thanh, Hon Quan, Loc Ninh, Bu Dop, Bu Gia Map, Bu Dang.
Article 2. This Resolution takes effect from the date of its promulgation.
Article 3. The Minister of Interior, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc Province and the Heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Resolution./.
