DECISION OF THE STATE PRESIDENT

Regarding the withdrawal of Vietnamese citizenship

PRESIDENT OF THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIET NAM MALE

Pursuant to Article 103 and Article 106 of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 1992 as amended and supplemented by Resolution No. 51/2001/QH10 dated December 25, 2001 of the National Assembly, the tenth session;

Pursuant to the Law on Vietnamese Citizenship Male in 1998;

Considering the proposal of the Government at the Report No. 732/CP-PC dated 30-5-2003,

 

DECISION:

Article 1. Stripping Vietnamese citizenship from 153 citizens residing in the Federal Republic of Germany; 7 citizens residing in Finland; 1 citizen residing in Sweden; 19 citizens residing in Denmark; 1 citizen residing in Poland; 41 citizens residing in the Republic of Austria; 4 citizens residing in Slovakia; 24 citizens residing in the Czech Republic; 1 citizen residing in the United States; 11 citizens residing in Japan; 6 citizens residing in the People's Republic of China (Hong Kong Special Administrative Region); 76 citizens residing in the Lao People's Democratic Republic; 189 citizens residing in Taiwan (with a list attached to this Decision);

Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.

The Prime Minister, the Minister of Justice, the Director of the President's Office, and the citizens named in the list mentioned in Article 1 are responsible for implementing this Decision.
