REGARDING THE DIVISION OF TAM DAO DISTRICT IN VINH PHUC PROVINCE INTO TAM DUONG AND BINH XUYEN DISTRICTS huyện Tam Dương and huyện Bình Xuyên
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
CONSIDERING THE PROPOSAL OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF VINH PHUC PROVINCE AND THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE ORGANIZATION-CIVIL SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT,
DECREE:
Article 1.- NOW, THE TAM DAO DISTRICT IN VINH PHUC PROVINCE IS DIVIDED INTO TAM DUONG DISTRICT AND BINH XUYEN DISTRICT.
TAM DUONG DISTRICT HAS AN AREA OF 20,988 HA AND A POPULATION OF 135,171, INCLUDING 18 COMMUNE LEVEL ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS: HOP THINH, DUY PHIEN, VAN HOI, HOANG LAU, AN HOA, HOP HOA, HOANG DAN, DAO TU, THANH VAN, DONG TINH, HUONG DAO, HOP CHAU, KIM LONG, TAM QUAN, HOANG HOA, HO SON, DAI DINH AND TAM DUONG MARKET TOWN.
THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES OF TAM DUONG DISTRICT: EAST ADJACENT TO BINH XUYEN DISTRICT AND VINH YEN CITY; WEST ADJACENT TO LAP THACH DISTRICT; SOUTH ADJACENT TO VINH TƯNG AND YEN LẠC DISTRICTS; NORTH ADJACENT TO LAP THACH DISTRICT (SAME PROVINCE) AND DAI TU DISTRICT OF THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE.
BINH XUYEN DISTRICT HAS AN AREA OF 21,401 HA AND A POPULATION OF 115,546, INCLUDING 14 COMMUNE LEVEL ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS: DAO DUC, PHU XUAN, THANH LANG, TAN PHONG, SON LOI, QUAT LUU, TAM HOP, HUONG SON, GIA KHANH, THIEN KE, MINH QUANG, BA HIEN, TRUNG MY AND HUONG CANH MARKET TOWN.
THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES OF BINH XUYEN DISTRICT: EAST ADJACENT TO ME LINH DISTRICT; WEST ADJACENT TO TAM DUONG DISTRICT AND VINH YEN CITY; SOUTH ADJACENT TO YEN LAC DISTRICT; NORTH ADJACENT TO DAI TU AND PHO YEN DISTRICTS OF THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE.
Article 2.- THIS DECREE SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS ISSUANCE. ALL PRIOR PROVISIONS CONTRARY TO THIS DECREE ARE ABROGATED.
Article 3.- THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF VINH PHUC PROVINCE, THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE ORGANIZATION-CIVIL SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT AND THE HEADS OF THE RELATED AUTHORITIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECREE.
