Scope of application
The Government, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bình Phước Province, the Minister, the Director of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government, and the Heads of relevant agencies shall be responsible for implementing this Decree. The newly established communes and towns belong to Phước Long, Bù Đăng, Bình Long, and Đồng Phú districts, Province of Bình Phước.

Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries to establish communes and towns under the districts of Phuoc Long, Bu Dang, Binh Long, Dong Phu, Province of Binh Phuoc
THE GOVERNMENT
Based on the Government Organization Law dated December 25, 2001
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc Province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government
DECREE
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish communes and towns under the districts of Phuoc Long, Bu Dang, Binh Long, and Dong Phu, Province of Binh Phuoc as follows:
1. Establishing Phu Nghia Commune under Phuoc Long District based on 14,501 hectares of natural area and 7,455 population of Duc Hạnh Commune.
Administrative boundary of Phu Nghia Commune: East borders Duc Hạnh Commune; West borders Da Kia Commune and Loc Ninh District; South borders Binh Phuoc and Son Giang Communes; North borders Dak O Commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Phu Nghia Commune, Duc Hạnh Commune remains with 13,450 hectares of natural area and 9,834 population.
2. Establishing Phuoc Son Commune under Bu Dang District based on 5,500 hectares of natural area and 1,690 population of Dong Ket Commune, 4,800 hectares of natural area and 3,151 population of Thong Nhat Commune.
Phuoc Son Commune has a natural area of 10,300 hectares and a population of 4,841.
Administrative boundary of Phuoc Son Commune: East borders Dong Nai Commune and Lam Dong Province; West borders Duc Lieu and Minh Hung Communes; South borders Thong Nhat Commune; North borders Dong Ket Commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Phuoc Son Commune:
Dong Ket Commune remains with 7,565 hectares of natural area and 3,831 population.
Thong Nhat Commune remains with 9,300 hectares of natural area and 7,889 population.
3. Establishing Minh Thang Commune under Binh Long District based on 3,600.4 hectares of natural area and 3,634 population of Nha Bich Commune.
Administrative boundary of Minh Thang Commune: East borders Minh Lap Commune and Binh Duong Province; West and South borders Nha Bich Commune; North borders Tan Quan Commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Minh Thang Commune, Nha Bich Commune remains with 5,173 hectares of natural area and 3,875 population.
4. Establishing Thuan Phu Commune under Dong Phu District based on 8,735 hectares of natural area and 10,253 population of Thuan Loi Commune.
Administrative boundary of Thuan Phu Commune: East borders Thuan Loi and Dong Tam Communes; West borders Binh Long District; South borders Dong Xoai Town; North borders Thuan Loi Commune and Phuoc Long District.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Thuan Phu Commune, Thuan Loi Commune remains with 7,761.5 hectares of natural area and 8,543 population.
5. Establishing Dong Tien Commune under Dong Phu District based on 5,210 hectares of natural area and 9,686 population of Dong Tam Commune.
Administrative boundary of Dong Tien Commune: East borders Dong Tam and Tan Phuoc Communes; West borders Dong Xoai Town; South borders Tan Phuoc Commune; North borders Thuan Loi and Dong Tam Communes.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Dong Tien Commune, Dong Tam Commune remains with 9,650 hectares of natural area and 4,584 population.
6. Establishing Tan Tien Commune under Dong Phu District based on 6,740 hectares of natural area and 7,431 population of Tan Hoa Commune.

7. Establishing Tan Phu Town - the district capital of Dong Phu District based on 3,102 hectares of natural area and 5,631 population of Tan Loi Commune.

Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
