DECISION:
Regarding the transfer of the original status of the Tan Thanh Agricultural Water Experiment Station – Environment under the Southern Irrigation Science Institute
THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Pursuant to Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to Resolution No. 120/NQ/BCS dated November 30, 2001 of the Party Cadre Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the construction of the research institute system;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Southern Irrigation Science Institute and the Director of the Personnel Department.
DECISION:
Article 1. Transfer the original status of the Tan Thanh Agricultural Water Experiment Station - Environment under the Southern Irrigation Science Institute to be directly subordinate to the Mekong Delta Rice Research Institute.
The office of the Tan Thanh Agricultural Water Experiment Station - Environment is located in Kien Binh Commune, Tan Thanh District, Long An Province (the current location of the station).
Article 2. Entrust the Directors of the Southern Irrigation Science Institute and the Mekong Delta Rice Research Institute with the responsibility for transferring and receiving all technical materials, land, related files and documents, labor, and staffing quotas currently existing (as settled in 2001 and any arising until now) of the Tan Thanh Agricultural Water Experiment Station - Environment, and complete this before May 31, 2002.
Entrust the Departments under the Ministry, according to their functions, to guide the two Institutes in transferring and receiving the Tan Thanh Agricultural Water Experiment Station - Environment in accordance with the current regulations of the State.
Entrust the Director of the Mekong Delta Rice Research Institute to restructure the tasks, organizational structure, and operational regulations of the Tan Thanh Agricultural Water Experiment Station - Environment to better serve the agricultural development of the Dong Thap Muoi region, aligning with the research tasks of the Mekong Delta region and providing high-quality crop seeds for Long An Province, and submit this to the Ministry for decision before June 30, 2002.
Article 3. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.
Article 4. The Head of the Office, the Director of the Personnel Department, the Heads of relevant agencies and units under the Ministry, the Director of the Southern Irrigation Science Institute, and the Director of the Mekong Delta Rice Research Institute are responsible for implementing this decision.
