GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam No. Pursuant to Article 1997/QH10 dated December 12, 1997, and pursuant to the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the State Bank of Vietnam Law No. 10/2003/QH11 dated June 17, 2003;

Pursuant to Decree No. 81/1998/NĐ-CP dated October 1, 1998 of the Government on printing, minting, preserving, transporting, and destroying paper and metallic currency; preserving and transporting valuable assets and securities within the banking system;

Pursuant to Decree No. 52/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 19, 2003 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;

Based on the proposal of the Director of the General Inspection Department,

DECISION

Article 1To amend certain contents of the Inspection and Supervision Regulations of the State Bank for the Printing and Minting Activities of Vietnamese Currency at the National Banknote Printing Works issued pursuant to Decision No. 21/2006/QĐ-NHNN dated May 16, 2006 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam as follows:

1. Point a Clause 5 Article 2 shall be amended and supplemented as follows:

"a) Inspect the implementation of state regulations and the State Bank's provisions related to the printing and minting tasks at the Factory such as: organizing bidding for various types of materials, raw materials, printing and minting equipment; preparing printing and minting materials and raw materials; ensuring the quality of printed and minted currency; storing the quantity of finished printed and minted currency products; storing defective printed and minted currency and defective printing paper and minting metal."

2. Clause 1 Article 7 shall be amended and supplemented as follows:

"1. Take the lead or coordinate with functional units to inspect the accounting and financial work of the Factory according to current regulations."

3. Abolish Clause 1, Clause 2, and Point b Clause 5 Article 2; Clause 2 Article 5.

Article 2This Decision takes effect 15 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 3. The Head of the Office, Directors of the General Inspection Department, the Accounting and Finance Department, the Issuance and Treasury Management Bureau, the Director of the National Banknote Printing Works, Heads of Departments, Bureaus, and relevant units under the State Bank are responsible for implementing this Decision.
