Based on the Labor Code dated June 18, 2012;

Pursuant to the Social Insurance Law dated June 29, 2006;

Pursuant to Decree No. 45/2013/NĐ-CP dated May 10, 2013 of the Government detailing certain provisions of the Labor Code on working hours, rest periods, labor safety, and occupational health;

This Circular prescribes procedures for receiving, providing health care for domestic violence victims and statistical reports on domestic violence victims at medical facilities.

At the proposal of the Director of the Medical Environment Management Department;

The Minister of Health issues this Circular supplementing occupational pneumoconiosis to the list of occupational diseases covered by insurance and providing guidance on diagnosis and assessment,

Article 1. Supplementing the List of Occupational Diseases Covered by Insurance

1. Supplementing occupational pneumoconiosis to the list of occupational diseases eligible for social insurance benefits.

2. Issuing with this Circular Guidelines for Diagnosis and Assessment of the Degree of Bodily Damage Caused by Occupational Pneumoconiosis.

Article 2. Benefits for Persons Affected by Occupational Diseases

Workers who have been assessed for the degree of bodily damage caused by the disease specified in Clause 2, Article 1 of this Circular shall be entitled to social insurance benefits as prescribed by the Social Insurance Law, the Labor Code, and other benefits as stipulated by current laws.

Article 3. Effectiveness

This Circular takes effect from January 1, 2015.

Article 4. Responsibilities for Implementation

The Heads of the Ministry's Office, Inspectorate, Environmental Health Management Department, Directors of Departments, Bureaus, General Directorates under the Ministry of Health, Provincial Health Service Directors, Heads of health agencies under Ministries and sectors, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular. Any difficulties or obstacles encountered during implementation should be promptly reported to the Ministry of Health (Environmental Health Management Department) for resolution.
