CIRCULAR
BIssuing the Secondary School Continuing Education Program
Pursuant to the Education Law dated June 14, 2019;
Pursuant to Decree No. 69/2017/NĐ-CP dated May 25, 2017 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;
Pursuant to Decree No. 127/2018/NĐ-CP dated September 21, 2018 of the Government stipulating responsibilities for state management of education;
Pursuant to the Evaluation Board's Minutes on the Secondary School Continuing Education Program;
At the request of the Director of the Department of Continuing Education;
The Minister of Education and Training issues this Circular on the Secondary School Continuing Education Program.
Article 1. Attached to this Circular is the Secondary School Continuing Education Program.
Article 2. The Secondary School Continuing Education Program shall be implemented according to the following schedule:
1. From the 2021-2022 school year for Grade 6.
2. From the 2022-2023 school year for Grade 7.
3. From the 2023-2024 school year for Grade 8.
4. From the 2024-2025 school year for Grade 9.
Article 3. This Circular takes effect from February 8, 2022, and replaces Decision No. 48/2002/QĐ-BGD&ĐT dated November 27, 2002, of the Minister of Education and Training on the Secondary School Supplementary Education Program.
The Secondary School Supplementary Education Program issued pursuant to Decision No. 48/2002/QĐ-BGD&ĐT dated November 27, 2002, of the Minister of Education and Training shall continue to be applied until the provisions of Article 2 of this Circular are implemented.
For Grade 6 students enrolled in the 2021-2022 school year before the effective date of this Circular, the current program shall continue to be implemented until the end of the 2021-2022 school year.
Article 4. The Director of the Office, the Head of the Department of Continuing Education, the Heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training, the Chairpersons of Provincial People's Committees, the Directors of Departments of Education and Training, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
