Regarding the establishment of the Textile-Garment Import-Export Company
under the Vietnam Textile-Garment Corporation
THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY
Pursuant to Decree No. 74/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry;
Pursuant to Circular No. 24/CP-ĐMDN dated April 17, 2000 of the Government approving the overall plan for restructuring state-owned enterprises of the Vietnam Textile-Garment Corporation;
Considering the proposal of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Textile-Garment Corporation (Proposal No. 668/TT-HĐQT dated May 12, 2000);
At the proposal of the Director of the Personnel and Organization Department,
DECISION:
Article 1The Textile-Garment Import-Export Company shall be established based on the reorganization of the Export-Import Department of the Vietnam Textile-Garment Corporation.
The Textile-Garment Import-Export Company is a member enterprise subordinate to the Vietnam Textile-Garment Corporation, having a bank account and a seal for transactions in accordance with the regulations of the Vietnam Textile-Garment Corporation's Board of Directors.
International trade name in English: VINATEX IMPORT-EXPORT COMPANY; abbreviated as VINATEX-IMEX.
The main office of the Company is located at No. 57B Phan Chu Trinh Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
Registered Capital: 30,338 million VND.
Article 2. The Company engages in the following business activities:
- Domestic and export-import of textile-garment products, raw materials, and spare parts for the textile-garment industry,
- Other businesses assigned by the Corporation in accordance with the law.
Article 3. The Company shall proceed with registration of its business activities and operations in accordance with the Company Charter approved by the Vietnam Textile-Garment Corporation's Board of Directors and the provisions of the law.
Article This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of signature. Decisions contrary to this Decision are hereby repealed.
The Director of the Ministry's Office, the Inspector General of the Ministry, Heads of Departments, Directors of Agencies under the Ministry, Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of the Vietnam Textile-Garment Corporation, and Director of the Textile-Garment Import-Export Company are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
