Article 1. Amending and supplementing the "Regulation on Management, Examination, Issuance, Renewal, and Revocation of Train Driver Licenses" issued together with Decision No. 44/2005/QĐ-BGTVT dated September 22, 2005 of the Minister of Transport as follows:
1. Amend and supplement Article 1 as follows:
"Article 1. Scope of Regulation This Regulation governs the management, examination, issuance, renewal, and revocation of train driver licenses for persons directly operating railway transportation means on national railways, urban railways, and dedicated railways connected and not connected to the national railway network."
2. Amending and supplementing Point a Clause 1 Article 17 as follows:
"a) Only renew licenses for those currently engaged in train driving work in the following cases:
- Persons who have been issued a license by the Vietnam Railway Administration but whose licenses have expired;
- Persons currently engaged in train driving work on dedicated railways not connected to the national railway network up to the date this Decision takes effect and who already hold a train driver license or a decision assigning them to train driving work issued by the enterprise's head."
Article 2. Amending and supplementing the "Provisions on Content and Procedures for Examination and Issuance of Train Driver Licenses on Railways" issued together with Decision No. 37/2006/QĐ-BGTVT dated November 1, 2006 of the Minister of Transport as follows:
1. Amending and supplementing Article 1 as follows:
"Article 1. Scope of Regulation This Provisions govern the content and procedures for examination and issuance of train driver licenses on national railways, urban railways, and dedicated railways connected and not connected to the national railway network."
2. Amending and supplementing Article 2 as follows:
"Article 2. Applicability These Provisions apply to organizations and individuals related to the examination and issuance of train driver licenses on national railways, urban railways, and dedicated railways connected and not connected to the national railway network."
Article 3. This Decision shall take effect 15 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 4. The Chief of the Office, the Inspector General, Heads of Departments, the Director of the Vietnam Railway Administration, Heads of agencies and units, and relevant individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
