Pursuant to the Law on Protecting People's Health
Pursuant to the Decree No. 68/CP dated October 11, 1993 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;
After reaching agreement with the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs through Circular No. 941/LDTBXH-BHLĐ dated April 2, 2002; and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry through Circular No. 0850/PTM-VPGC dated April 17, 2002.
At the proposal of the Director of the Preventive Medicine Department of the Ministry of Health.

Article 1. Issued together with this Decision:
1. Twenty-one (21) occupational hygiene standards for application at facilities employing labor.
2. Five (05) principles and seven (07) occupational hygiene parameters are basic guidelines for designing systems, work positions, machinery, tools, and classifying labor.
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of issuance. Abolish the occupational hygiene regulations from Section 1 to Section 8 in Part Four "Occupational Hygiene Regulations" of Decision No. 505-BYT/QĐ dated April 13, 1992 of the Minister of Health regarding the issuance of certain temporary occupational hygiene standards.
Article 3. The Director of the Preventive Medicine Department shall be responsible for organizing, directing the implementation, and supervising the enforcement of this Decision.
Article 4. The Heads of the Office, Inspectorate, Preventive Medicine Department of the Ministry of Health, Heads of subordinate units under the Ministry of Health, Directors of Provincial Health Departments directly under the Central Government are responsible for enforcing this Decision.
