Regarding the upgrading of Lang Son Secondary Teachers' College to Lang Son College of Education
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to Decree No. 90/CP dated November 24, 1993 of the Government stipulating the framework structure of the national education system, the system of educational certificates and qualifications of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son Province at Circular No. 249/UB-TT dated April 27, 1996 and the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training at Circular No. 3726/KHTC dated May 16, 1997,
DECISION:
Article 1.- Upgrade Lang Son Secondary Teachers' College to Lang Son College of Education.
Article 2.- Lang Son College of Education shall have the following tasks:
- Training and enhancing cadres at the college level.
- Conducting scientific research to serve economic and social development needs.
Article 3.- Lang Son College of Education is under the management of the People's Committee of Lang Son Province and subject to sectoral management by the Ministry of Education and Training; it shall enjoy policies and regulations prescribed by the State for the college system.
Article 4.- THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.
Article 5.- The Minister of Education and Training, the Ministers, Heads of relevant agencies, and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son Province are responsible for implementing this Decision.
