Regarding the forecast period and regular provision of information for the management of available capital

GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam No. 01/1997/QH10 dated December 26, 1997;

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 on the tasks, powers, and responsibilities for state management of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to the proposal of the Director of the Monetary Policy Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. The forecast period for available capital is three periods in a month. The first period is from the 1st to the 10th day of the month. The second period is from the 11th to the 20th day of the month. The third period is from the 21st to the last day of the month.

In cases where the 1st, 11th, and 21st fall on a non-working day according to regulations, the forecast period begins on the next working day.

In cases where the 10th, 20th, and the last day of the month fall on a non-working day according to regulations, the forecast period ends on the previous working day.

Article 2. Regular provision of information by units under the State Bank of Vietnam to the Department of Monetary Policy in accordance with the Regulation on Management of Available Capital issued together with Decision No. 37/2000/QĐ-NHNN1 dated January 24, 2000 is as follows:

1. Accounting and Finance Department: Provide information on the implementation of the previous period and forecast for the next period within two working days following the end of the forecast period.

2. Foreign Exchange Management Department: Provide information within five working days at the beginning of the month.

3. Credit Department: Provide information on the implementation of the previous period and forecast for the next period within two working days following the end of the forecast period.

4. Issuance Operations and Treasury Department: Within two working days following the end of the reporting period, provide information every five days on the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, and the last day of the month.

5. State Bank Trading Office: Provide information of the previous working day at the end of each working day. Specifically, information on the situation of the government bond auction market through the State Bank shall be provided in the afternoon of the auction day upon completion of the auction results.

Article 3. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature.

Article 4. The Head of the Office, the Inspector General of the State Bank of Vietnam, and the Heads of units under the Central State Bank are responsible for implementing this Decision.
