Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries to expand the town of Phung,
Dan Phuong district, Ha Tay province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tay province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries of Don Phuong commune and Song Phuong commune are adjusted to expand the town of Phung, Dan Phuong district, Ha Tay province as follows:
Merge 123.84 hectares of natural area and 2,818 population from Don Phuong commune; 126.54 hectares of natural area and 2,505 population from Song Phuong commune into the town of Phung.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, the town of Phung will have 297.02 hectares of natural area and 7,613 population.
Administrative boundary of the town of Phung: East borders Don Phuong commune and Hoai Duc district; West borders Don Phuong commune and Dong Thap commune; South borders Don Phuong commune, Song Phuong commune, and Dong Thap commune; North borders Don Phuong commune and Phuong Dinh commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to expand the town of Phung:
Don Phuong commune will retain 354.46 hectares of natural area and 6,883 population. Song Phuong commune will retain 222.64 hectares of natural area and 3,848 population.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after the date of signature. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tay province, the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
