Regarding the dissolution of the communes of Xuan My, Xuan Lien, and Xuan Kha (reservoir area) under Thuan Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province, and the adjustment of administrative boundaries of the dissolved communes

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province,
DECREE:
Article 1. Dissolve the communes of Xuan My, Xuan Lien, and Xuan Kha (reservoir area) under Thuan Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province, and adjust the administrative boundaries of the dissolved communes as follows:
1. Dissolve the communes of Xuan My, Xuan Lien, and Xuan Kha under Thuan Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province.
2. Adjust the administrative boundaries of the dissolved communes as follows:
a) Transfer 5,201.02 hectares of natural land area from Xuan My commune; 1,849.42 hectares of natural land area from Xuan Lien commune to Van Xuan commune under the management of Thuan Xuan district.
b) Transfer 1,972.54 hectares of natural land area and 1,026 population from Xuan My commune to Xuan Cam commune under the management of Thuan Xuan district.
c) Transfer 7,094.67 hectares of natural land area from Xuan Lien commune; 1,901.89 hectares of natural land area from Xuan Kha commune to Yen Nhan commune under the management of Thuan Xuan district.
d) Transfer 821.20 hectares of natural land area from Xuan Lien commune; 2,637.59 hectares of natural land area from Xuan Kha commune to Luong Son commune under the management of Thuan Xuan district.
đ) Transfer 743 population from Xuan My commune to Thanh Tan commune under the management of Nu Xuong district.
e) Transfer 804 population from Xuan My commune to Thanh Ky commune under the management of Nu Xuong district.
g) Transfer 50 population from Xuan My commune to Yen Nhan commune under the management of Thuan Xuan district.
h) Transfer 1,513 population from Xuan Lien commune to Xuan Hoa commune under the management of Nu Xuong district.
i) Transfer 39 population from Xuan Lien commune to Tan Thanh commune under the management of Thuan Xuan district.
k) Transfer 1,147 population from Xuan Kha commune to Luong Son commune under the management of Thuan Xuan district.
l) Transfer 589 population from Xuan Kha commune to Yen Nhan commune under the management of Thuan Xuan district.
m) Transfer 443 population from Xuan Kha commune to Ngoc Phung commune under the management of Thuan Xuan district.
n) Transfer 362 population from Xuan Kha commune to the town of Thuan Xuan under the management of Thuan Xuan district.
3. After adjusting the administrative boundaries of the dissolved communes:
a) Thuan Xuan district has 111,323.79 hectares of natural land area and 79,970 population, with 17 subordinate administrative units, including the communes of Luong Son, Ngoc Phung, Xuan Cam, Van Xuan, Xuan Le, Xuan Chinh, Xuan Loc, Xuan Thang, Tan Thanh, Luu Khe, Bat Mot, Yen Nhan, Luu Than, Xuan Cao, Tho Thanh, Xuan Duong, and the town of Thuan Xuan.
- Yen Nhan commune has 19,088.24 hectares of natural land area and 4,695 population.
- Luong Son commune has 8,173.69 hectares of natural land area and 7,887 population.
- Van Xuan commune has 14,115.97 hectares of natural land area and 5,316 population.
- Xuan Cam commune has 4,541.62 hectares of natural land area and 3,740 population.
- Tan Thanh commune has 3,794.98 hectares of natural land area and 4,790 population.
- The town of Thuan Xuan has 272.99 hectares of natural land area and 4,698 population.
- Ngoc Phung commune has 1,684.76 hectares of natural land area and 7,469 population.
b) Nu Xuong district has 71,739.78 hectares of natural land area; 61,226 population, with 18 subordinate administrative units.
Xuan Hoa commune has 11,676.75 hectares of natural land area and 3,698 population.
c) Nu Thanh district has 56,712.11 hectares of natural land area; 84,388 population, with 17 subordinate administrative units.
- Thanh Tan commune has 9,538.65 hectares of natural land area and 6,234 population.
- Thanh Ky commune has 5,083.52 hectares of natural land area; 5,291 population.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. Any previous regulations that conflict with this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Minister of Home Affairs, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
