Priority Investment and Development High Technology List and Encouraged Development High Technology Products List

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated June 19, 2015; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Organization of the Government and the Law on Organization of Local Administration dated November 22, 2019;

Pursuant to the High Technology Law dated November 13, 2008;

Pursuant to the proposal of the Minister of Science and Technology;

The Prime Minister issues the Decision on the Priority Investment and Development High Technology List and the Encouraged Development High Technology Products List.

DECISION:

Article 1. Priority Investment and Development High Technology List and Encouraged Development High Technology Products List

1. Attached to this Decision are the following Lists:

a) Priority Investment and Development High Technology List (Annex I);

b) Encouraged Development High Technology Products List (Annex II).

2. In cases where high technologies or high technology products not included in the Lists under Clause 1 of this Article but meeting the provisions of Clause 3, Article 5 and Clause 1, Article 6 of the Law on High Technology, having urgent necessity, serving the needs for economic and social development of the country, the Ministry of Science and Technology shall take the lead and coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to compile and report to the Prime Minister.

Article 2. Effectiveness and responsibility for implementation

1. This Decision takes effect from February 15, 2021 and replaces Decision No. 66/2014/QĐ-TTg dated November 25, 2014 of the Prime Minister approving the Priority Investment and Development High Technology List and the Encouraged Development High Technology Products List, Decision No. 13/2017/QĐ-TTg dated April 28, 2017 of the Prime Minister amending and supplementing the Priority Investment and Development High Technology List and the Encouraged Development High Technology Products List, Clause 2, Article 1 and Article 4 of Decision No. 34/2019/QĐ-TTg dated December 18, 2019 of the Prime Minister stipulating criteria for determining high technology application projects and business operation plans in agriculture and supplementing the Priority Investment and Development High Technology List attached to Decision No. 66/2014/QĐ-TTg dated November 25, 2014 of the Prime Minister.

2. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of provincial and centrally-administered city People's Committees and related agencies, organizations, and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
