DECREE
Regarding the establishment of wards under the city of Viet Tri
and renaming the district of Song Thao to Cam Ke district, Phu Tho province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, establish the wards of Ben Got and Du Lau under the city of Viet Tri and rename the district of Song Thao to Cam Ke district, Phu Tho province as follows:
1. Establish the ward of Ben Got under the city of Viet Tri based on 256.10 hectares of natural area and 5,732 population of the ward of Thanh Mieu.
Administrative boundary of the ward of Ben Got: East borders with the commune of Song Lo and the ward of Bach Hac; West borders with the ward of Tho Son, South borders with Ha Tay province; North borders with the ward of Thanh Mieu.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the ward of Ben Got, the ward of Thanh Mieu remains with 263.14 hectares of natural area and 8,769 population.
2. Establish the ward of Du Lau based on the entire natural area and population of the commune of Du Lau. The ward of Du Lau has 631 hectares of natural area and 7,994 population.
Administrative boundary of the ward of Du Lau: East borders with Vinh Phuc province; West borders with the ward of Nong Trang and the commune of Van Phu; South borders with the ward of Tan Dan and the commune of Trung Vuong; North borders with the commune of Phuong Lau.
3. Rename the district of Song Thao to Cam Ke district.
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province, the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government, and the heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
